Port Dover, Ontario
Port Dover, on the shores of Lake Erie, is a popular place for a one day trip or weekend because of its public beach, which is right at the center of activity along Port Dover's main street. The beach provides access to great swimming, as well as being close to the main commercial strip where visitors can purchase souvenirs at the village's beach shops, or have a Lake Erie Yellow Perch or Pickerel dinner that are available for take-out.
